We are sure this may be a surprise to you!
Our little shop on Etsy is called "ClassyStashy". Much of what we offer is from Tina's fabulous well known high-end quilt shop called "The Guild" with thousands of bolts of quilt fabric as well as being a Bernina Dealer, it was located on Broadway in Paducah, Kentucky.
(My little shop "The Quilter's Hand" was about 2 blocks away across from the National Quilt Museum, both are now closed.)
Maybe you have been to Paducah and remember Tina and her wonderful staff. She specialized in Civil War Reproduction Fabric. Oh my, did she really influence my love for Civil War Fabric!
Now it is really fun for us to be able to offer these fabrics creating hand curated collections for you. Fabrics include: Andover, Judy Rothermel, Windham, Free Spirit, Kona, Westminster, Moda, Robert Kaufman, Hoffman, Kaffe, Jinny Beyer, Mary Englebrecht, Barbara Brackman, Timeless Treasures, Batiks, Shabby Chic and more.
Here is an example of our Classy Stashy Etsy page with some of the rare and one-of-a-kind limited edition Civil War Reproduction Fabric Bundles. Most shown are now sold but there are a few left and we are adding more every day. Many ship free!
And to avoid any confusion, (mostly because of our brain's fabric overload) the majority offerings are of rare vintage one-of-a-kind bundles; so we decided to keep our fabrics and sewy things all in one place and that is in our Etsy Shop --since 2016. Links will always be on sallyterry.com and we will let you know about new releases.
If you are looking for interesting scrappy remnants, bolt ends, precuts, 2.5" squares, 3" squares, 5" squares, fat quarters, .5 Yards and 1 Yard+ continuous cuts and lots more surprises at great savings, we may just have want you need. You just never know what we will find in our great stash and add to Classy Stashy. Some we just can't imagine parting with!
We even iron everything for you... and our great Steam Presser Iron "Prissy" puts the finishing touches on lots and lots of yardage. I remember using one of these when I was a kid, don't you?... ironed many shirts and sheets.
In case you are curious, we use a commercial Accucut Machine and an Electric Accuquilt GO for the precuts, strips and more for precision and accurate sizes and shapes for your sewing and quilting projects.
We are thrilled to be here with you once again with our online store sharing the joy of quilting, the love of fabric and the delight of creating gifts for those we care about and love. Fabric makes us happy and we just can't think of being without another project or two.
Yours in the love of quilting, Tina and Sally
(Hilarious, this is what we looked like when we met over 20 years ago.)
We hope you will venture over to Classy Stashy for Rare Vintage Quilting Sewy to see if we can help you get your projects done. We also offer custom orders, just in case.....
